| I bought a bike in IL in late November and arranged to have it shipped o me in VA by Haul Bikes. The bike was supposedly picked up Dec. 1 but still has not been put onto a truck as of Dec. 16 (today). I was told "2-3" weeks would be the time it took to deliver the bike. While it still may get here next week, I can't get an answer out of the customer service people - and I believe it it just sitting in their warehouse. I'm not unreasonable and 2-3 weeks to get a bike from IL to VA is acceptable. What's not is more than a month - and I am beginning to believe that's what I'm in store for. If the bike does get here within the next week or so I will update this post and sing the praises of Haul Bikes. But right now I a not feeling good about my decision to use this company. I paid $600 to ship the bike maybe a third of the way across the country -a t most a two-day drive. Anything longer than three weeks is absurd. |
