I was originally supposed to have my bike picked up between Apr 14-16, and the company even contacted me to let me know and called the seller to set up a pickup time. Then, on the afternoon of the 14th, I received an email, which i rarely check, to let me know they decided to postpone the pickup by 2 weeks. I don't check my email very often, and was disappointed in having to wait longer for my bike, but even more so they couldn't call me with bad news. I was lucky I checked that day becasue I had to be the one to call the bike seller and notify them that the pickup would be delayed. I had a similar situation shipping a snowmobile thru a different company last winter where I waited a LONG time, and didn't feel like getting yanked around again, so decided to suck it up and drive halfway across the country. When I called to have my order canceled the lady I talked to was very uppity. I was calm, polite, and referenced emails stating my concerns to her. All she would do is tell me how I was wrong and they did not guarantee any of these dates. I don't expect everything to run perfectly smoothly when having something shipped, but overall I felt the communication by this company was incredibly poor, as was the customer service when I tried to get my money back. I would avoid all dealings with this company if possible. They will keep you informed of all the good they are doing, but if anything goes wrong, they will try and hide it and their communication and understanding go out the window. If you are geting something shipped, I am sure there are MUCH better companies to work with than haulbikes.
