| I hired AAA Automovers to move a vehicle from Texas to Arizona. AAA Automovers contracted with Excalibur Transport to actually perform the transport. The dates and times of pickup and delivery kept changing which delayed delivery of the vehicle. The driver of the transport truck was inexperienced and in fact, this was his first trip of this type. My vehicle received minor damage during transport. I was uanble to reach Excalibur Transport to file a claim. To make a long story short, I contacted the insurance agent for Excalibur who informed me Excalibur's insurance had been dropped because of non-payment. In any event, the damage was less than the deductible so the insurance claim would not be honored because Excalibur would be responsible for the damage. Again, I was unable to contact Excalibur. AAA Automovers refused to be held liable for the damage because as they said, they are only the broker. AAA Automovers contracted with a company who had their insurance coverage dropped because of non-payment and hired inexperienced drivers, yet they refuse to be held liable for doing this. All this for damage below $50. Never use AAA Automovers....they do not take responsibility for their actions. |
