| I bought a Harley on eBay and signed my Haulbikes.com contract on 3/19. They picked the bike up in Florida on 3/23...good so far. The estimated delivery was 2-3 weeks, meaning that it would be delivered NLT 4/13. I was trying to arrange for receipt of the bike and contacted them in week 2 to find out when it was being shipped from Wisconsin. They told me "next week". I didn't hear back from them the following week, so I called them back to see when it would be delivered and they said "next week" (4 weeks). I called them back the following week and they said "next week" (5 weeks). Now I called them again this week and guess what they said. You guessed it, "next week". At this point, I don't see any prospect of them delivering it this week, because they have yet to keep a promise. They just say that they don't have any updates. I wouldn't use them again, because if their truck isn't full, they just stay put and don't deliver, so you sit and wait and hope.
Right now, I am wondering when I should file a police report or how I can get my bike that is being held hostage. Because of them, I am outside of my eBay "buyer protection program" because they are taking more than twice the time that they quoted to deliver. |
